Sited at the Royal Victoria Docks, the landmark ‘Hoola’ scheme for HUB Residential comprises 360 apartments. The landscape includes an innovative ‘blue roof’ design to attenuate surface and roof water above the basement car park with a mirror pool water feature and attenuation below the play area. Green retaining walls with extensive tree planting envelope the site accommodating the 7m level difference from lower street level to the residential gardens proving a cost effective and ecologically beneficial green edge to the development.
